j is for jellyfish

I finished another piece in my animal alphabet series. 3 done and 23 to go. I have a feeling I'll be working on this project for a looooong time. I can only work on it when I'm not busy with other projects, ya know what I mean? This one's for Jill. See this post for the others in the series.

On a personal note, for those of you who were following my daughter's 2nd attempt to make the cheer squad - bad news again, I'm afraid. Life can be so unfair sometimes.

Cute jellyfish! I'd much rather meet that one in the ocean than a real one.

Bummer for your daughter. Not making the cheer squad turning out to be a blessing in disguise for me. I found my niche in the high school choir.

Eeek! I LOVE it! She is a very happy jelly with perfect spots and lovely tentacles. The fish in the wave are a wonderful addition who enjoy schooling and were lucky enough to spot her from afar and admire how cute she is. Thanks Nina - this makes my heart happy :)

So sorry about your daughter - give her lots of hugs!

Awwwww, I'm sorry she didn't make it. Phooey. Cheering is a dangerous sport anyway.

LOOOOOOOOOOVE your jelly! I so love jellies. They are really beautiful, and yours is incredibly CUTE!
