Hello out there to all my friends in blogland! I haven't been posting much lately, but I have 2 very good reasons.
1. I'm working a big, fun project, so I don't have much time for personal work, that I can share.
2. I'm reading The Hunger Games Trilogy on my new Kindle that I got for Christmas. Have you read it yet? I heard about it at a recent meeting of our local chapter of SCBWI. One of the co-chairs said, if you haven't read it yet, you should!
So, I downloaded the 1st book on Christmas Day and I've been a reading machine ever since. I'm on the 2nd one now. It's meant to be for the Young Adult reader, but it's got mass appeal, smililar to Harry Potter, in the fact that the main characters are teenagers, the story is set in a world unlike the one we live in, and you can't put the books down, once you start.
So, I'm checking in to say Hi and now I've got to get back to that book!

Hello Nina! Glad to hear you are busy with a project. Wish you the best! Thanks for sharing the books. I am almost finished with Water for Elephants--a good adult novel. But it would be fun to read some good YA stuff.
I've listened to the first two audiobooks while I painted. They're so good and exciting. Very good reasons!
